Coaches,
As always the school year is moving quickly and our December season is approaching. Thus far our clinics have been a success and we thank those of you who could attend. This weekend BTS will not host a clinic however, from this point on there will be training every weekend for our coaches and athletes at various sites throughout the city. We will notify you about dates, times, and locations the week before an event.
As you know it is a primary goal of BTS to increase the level of wrestling in NYC beyond junior high school. Under Larry Cantor the PSAL is starting many new high school programs this year. In order for BTS to succeed these new high school programs must succeed as well, and for this success to be realized we need passionate coaches that care about NYC wrestling and the progression of the sport as a whole. Several of these new PSAL programs are still searching for coaches. In a joint effort between BTS and the PSAL we are searching for coaches to run these programs. If any of you would be willing to take on the role of a head high school coach please contact the BTS office ASAP. You would be providing a great service to BTS, the PSAL, and the wrestling community.
