The Beat the Streets Wrestling Program is seeking young men and women in New York City who have the passion for wrestling and want to become the very best they can be. They can do so by beginning serious training at the BTS training centers -- helping to take both themselves and New York City to the top tier of New York State wrestling.
These training centers will be conducted utilizing the system created by legendary coach Frank "Sprig" Gardner (Coach at Mepham HS) and implemented by USA Wrestling in its 7 Basic Skills program.
The system developed gave rise to one of the greatest high school programs ever created in the United States.
Many Beat the Streets Training Centers Citywide now have sessions for Adults and Open level wrestlers. Please contact us for more information concerning time and location.
Info: The Fall High School Developmental program will begin on Monday September 15 and continue every Monday and Wednesday until November 5th.
Location: Hunter College.
Times: All sessions will begin promptly at 6pm-8pm.
Cost: There is no cost and all participants will be registered for USAW cards by BTS, which will allow them to participate in all USA Wrestling Events for the 2008-09 Season.
